King County creates partnerships with jurisdictions or agencies to set up their own transportation service. The county provides lift-equipped vans and operating grants to cover expenses such as gas, maintenance and insurance. Agencies provide insurance, scheduling, drivers, and at least 150 trips a month for seniors or people with disabilities. The service is currently set up for people with special transportation needs.
