The King County Council has approved Metro’s recommendation to change transit service in the Snoqualmie Valley to better match the area’s needs. Beginning Sept. 28, residents will have access to an expanded network of service that is more effective yet costs less than traditional fixed-route bus service alone. Metro routes 209, 224, and 311 will be revised (follow the links to see what will change for each route), and a new Route 208 and Snoqualmie intra-valley shuttle will be created.
Change highlights
- New Route 208 will provide all-day and Saturday service to Snoqualmie Ridge.
- A new Snoqualmie Intra-Valley Shuttle will connect the communities of Duvall, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie, and North Bend. Riders will be asked for donations to use this service.
- Flexible routing will be available on the new Intra-Valley Shuttle in Duvall and some parts of North Bend (learn more).
- Route 224 will provide more trips between Duvall and Redmond and expanded service to Redmond Ridge.
