As a result of widespread snow and icy roadway conditions across the regionall Metro bus routes are operating on their snow routes. The latest details on all things snow are available at MetroWinter.com. Special hint: click on the color-coded regional map to see impacts to your particular route. Metro is NOT operating on its Emergency Snow Network of just 60 core routes at this time, and nearly all bus routes are in operation.

Buses operating on Saturday were chained prior to beginning service and will remain chained until roadway conditions improve. All electric trolley buses have been grounded, with hybrids remaining in service.

While nearly all bus routes are operating, some bus trips are canceled or delayed. Customer should not travel unless they have to, and expect delays, consulting with one of our real-time tools before you leave to make sure you can catch your desired trip. Check the status of a trip by using ‘Next Departures’ in Metro’s Trip Planner, or Text for Departures by texting your stop ID to 62550.

Metro is remaining flexible as weather conditions evolve, so sign up for Transit Alerts to make sure you don’t miss any service updates.
