West Seattle’s transit options just got better!

Metro's RapidRide C Line waits at the signal at California Ave in West Seattle with the mountains in the background.

October welcomes many West Seattle transit improvements by land and sea. Numerous bus routes have been restored or beefed up, and water taxi service will continue day service uninterrupted this winter. We hope this improves your mobility choices around the region while the West Seattle Bridge remains closed!

Transit service changes started Oct. 2. Check out the complete countywide schedule of service additions and updates at kingcounty.gov/ServiceChange.        .

West Seattle service highlights and changes include:

Service Frequency Improvements

Restoring Suspended Service

And remember: The West Seattle route of the Water Taxi will continue its summer sailing schedule. Starting Oct. 15, shuttle routes 773 and 775 will operate only during weekday peak commutes.
