Metro Weekend Update – January 23-25, 2026
Weekend Service Impacts
- Routes 1, 7, 14, 36, and 106 will have stop #1510 S Jackson Street & Maynard Avenue S (westbound) closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 24 due to construction;
- Route 2 will have stop #3330 Madrona Drive & Newport Way (southbound) closed Saturday, January 24 to Sunday, January 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily due to construction;
- Routes 10, 12, and 49 will have stop #11140 E Pine Street & Summit Avenue (eastbound) closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 24 due to construction;
- Route 12 will have stop #13270 19th Avenue & E Denny Way (southbound) closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 24 due to construction;
- Route 21 will have stop #22500 35th Avenue SW & SW 108th Street (northbound) and stop #22490 35th Avenue SW & SW 110th Street (northbound) closed Saturday, January 24 to Sunday, January 25 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily due to construction;
- Route 21 will be rerouted in both directions during the Seahawk home game on Sunday, January 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Stops on portions of 1st Avenue S will not be served, use alternate stops on 4th Avenue S instead;
- Routes 49 and 60 will have stop #11050 Broadway E & E Thomas Street (southbound) closed from Saturday, January 24 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, January 25 at 8 p.m. due to construction;
- Water Taxi: West Seattle route will have extended service after the Seahawks game on Sunday, January 25. Additional sailings depart Pier 50 at 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- The Seahawks will play at Lumen Field at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday;
- The Seattle Kraken will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday and at 12 p.m. on Sunday;
- Water Taxi is operating on the winter sailing schedule as of Saturday, October 11;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
