If you’d like to check out one of Metro’s new RapidRide buses, head over to the Link light rail Tukwila International Boulevard Station on Wednesday morning (July 14). One of the new red-and-yellow buses will be on display from 7 to 9 a.m. 7/15 update: this appearance was canceled–apologies to all who showed up! Please check the website for updated schedule.
The 60-foot, low-floor hybrid buses feature three doors, an additional destination sign at the rear of each bus (on the curb side), and free WiFi service.
The gray and red interiors have climate control, LED lighting, and 48 seats configured to make it easier to move around inside the bus and speed up boarding and exiting. Each bus will have Metro’s standard three-bike rack on the front.
If you can’t make it Wednesday, visit Metro’s RapidRide page to learn about other upcoming appearances.

So where’s the bus? I’m here at the tukwila station, 8am Wednesday. No bus to be seen, gotta say this is a bad omen…
Looks like the appearance this morning was canceled due to logistics (lack of space in the parking area). We are very sorry for the inconvenience to you and are tightening internal communications so this won’t happen again!
