On Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Metropolitan King County Council will take up Metro Transit’s recommended service changes for June 2012. The meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. in King County Council Chambers, 516 Third Avenue, Room 1001, Seattle.
While a vote is unlikely, the agenda includes time for public testimony on the ordinance.
You can download a copy of the agenda online: http://mkcclegisearch.kingcounty.gov/custom/king/calendar.htm
If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, consider watching it live on King County TV.
The June service change ordinance does not include any changes related to the start of the RapidRide C and D lines in September 2012. Separate Council meetings will be scheduled for these changes later this year.

Regarding Bus Route 35 to Harbor Island:
Please consider having the new Bus Route 50 make a stop at Spokane and Klickitat Way and then loop around to the north end of the Island. The people who work at both ends of the Island have no alternative other than Bus Route 35, so having Bus Route 50 take on that small piece twice per day will allow those individuals to continue commuting by bus. Please, please, please consider this idea!
