The F Line will connect Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila, and Renton (view map – 398KB PDF) with frequent service seven days a week. It will come every 10 minutes during peak commute hours, and will run later into the evening—and more frequently on weekends—than existing Route 140.
Changing this September
- Route 140 will begin serving The Landing.
- Route 155 will change to DART service and get a new number: Route 906. It will keep its current routing between Southcenter and Fairwood, and will keep the current schedule during peak service hours. Off-peak and on Saturdays, it will keep its current routing between Fairwood Center (140th Avenue SE and SE 177th Street) and Southcenter, and provide service on request only east of Fairwood Center. It will also be disconnected from Route 156, so riders accustomed to staying on the bus past Southcenter will have to transfer to make those trips.
- Route 909 will operate farther east on NE Seventh Street to Monroe Avenue NE, NE 10th Street, and Sunset Boulevard NE, providing better access to the Renton Housing Authority office and Renton Technical College.
Changing in June 2014
- F Line service begins.
- Route 110 will be discontinued.
Metro and the Council finalized these changes after thoughtful consideration of public feedback. The public engagement report is available online.
