Editor’s Note 10/5/2021: The Crossroads Connect pilot concluded operation in October 2021.

Update, March 15, 2021: Crossroads Connect is available for more hours each weekday and on Saturdays! New hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Oct. 1, 2020, the City of Bellevue and King County Metro launched Crossroads Connect, providing residents of the Crossroads and Lake Hills neighborhoods with an on-demand mobility service connecting them to Crossroads Shopping Center and nearby transit stops serving the broader Eastside.

We have since expanded the service area. Riders can get to or from RapidRide B Line stations throughout the Crossroads, Lake Hills, and Woodridge neighborhoods – spanning as far north as SR-520, south to I-90 and Eastgate Park & Ride, and west to 124th Avenue Northeast.

Additionally, the service is now available from noon to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, instead of 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. as it had been previously.

To request a ride, use the Crossroads Connect app (available in your preferred app store) or call 1-855-233-6043. Passengers will be picked up in a wheelchair-accessible passenger van within about 15 minutes. If wait times are long, passengers may be offered a cab ride instead at no additional charge.

By combining Crossroads Connect and bus service, passengers can access downtown Bellevue and Redmond (RapidRide B Line); Eastgate, downtown Bellevue, Factoria, Kirkland and Redmond (Routes 221, 226, and 245); and downtown Seattle and Renton (through routes serving Eastgate Park & Ride).

The cost is the same as a Metro bus ride and includes a free transfer to connecting bus lines. Fares may be paid using an ORCA card, cash (exact fare only), Transit GO ticket, or a valid transfer.

We are currently offering individual rides instead of small group rides to support physical distancing. Additional riders are allowed if they are members of the same party as the rider booking the trip. Masks are required, all vehicles are disinfected daily, and safety partitions separate riders from drivers.

This pilot service is expected to run through June 2021. More information is available at the Crossroads Connect web page.
