King County Metro will continue to suspend peak weekday routes 16, 232, 237, 301, 304 and 320 through Sept. 1 due to ongoing staff and bus availability. Some individual weekday bus trips also are canceled. Riders have alternatives available during these planned suspensions (listed below) and we will provide regular updates to keep you informed about your transit service and options.
Metro has shifted buses among its seven bases to make repairs and as a result has maintained better trip reliability across the county. Metro continues to train and hire bus operators and mechanics to deliver buses and transit services to your bus stop. Due to ongoing bus and staff availability challenges, summer service is likely to remain in the ongoing 95% range – providing more than 10,600-weekday trips – for several weeks while we repair and restore bus fleet for service. We encourage you to sign up to receive transit alerts as intermittent trip cancellations or route suspensions can occur.

Route 320 is the only viable option for a lot of commuters between Kenmore/Bothell and Downtown!! And considering most companies have mandated the return to office, please bring back Route 320! Adding more cars to the streets during peak hours because bus routes are cancelled cannot be the solution and not a lot of us can even afford to switch to finding other commute options!! Please bring back Route 320!
I think either King county officially announce 320 is cancelled permanently or announce when is the estimated deadline you find staff to get 320 back. Keep suspending 320 every two weeks is to fool everyone here, ridiculous! Canceling such an important route is wasting everyone’s time here. I suggest King county show us a way to escalate this problem, if anyone know please post here.
Yes sir. 320 will be deleted soon. Everyone’s going to take a 322 and then a 3 and a 40, with two fricking transfers and everyone will phone and complain.
EVERYONE’S GONNA FRICK OUT CUZ THE 320 WAS USED FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE AND IT’S MORE CONVENIENT! TAKING A 322 AND A 15 MINUTE WALK TO NORTHGATE AND TRANSFERRING TO A FRICKING LOCAL 40 IS FREAKING OUT! AMAZON WORKERS ARE RETURNING TO OFFICE, EVERYONE’S GONNA FREAK OUT AND PHONE AND COMPLAIN WITH EVERYONE ELSE!
Exactly, totally agree! Suspending 320 brought huge inconvenience to us. I have been keep tracking your website and found these routes had been continuously suspended biweekly. Is King county planning cancel these routes totally?! Plus there are many routes King county managed not able to arrive on time, 522 is always late at Roosevelt station. Can we know when the routes suspended coming back? What is your ECD to fix this short staff/bus availability issue?!
This is ridiculous. King country metro is slowly killing highly used transport mechanisms to downtown and offered alternatives are not comparable. These buses were highly used and it feels like these service cancellations have not gone through necessary public debate. Look at the ridership data! Many of these lines were packed before they were ripped out from under riders. I suggest you open public comment and survey which lines really feed downtown commuters. For instance, 320 overlaps a lot of the 20 route and would have been a better line to keep intact during peak hours. I feel like my metro is failing me! Please consider just offering drivers more pay to attract them!
