Snow update: King County Metro service returning to normal, cold temperatures to continue
With the threat of snow receding and roadway conditions improving across most of King County, Metro bus service is returning to normal with a few exceptions.
- RapidRide G line remains temporarily suspended Thursday, Feb. 6, with plans to return to normal service, Friday, Feb. 7. The Route 90 snow shuttle will continue to operate Thursday.
- Some routes in south Seattle and south King County are temporarily on partial snow reroutes due to roadway conditions. Check the service advisories page for the latest information on how your Metro and Sound Transit routes are affected.
Metro staff are monitoring roadway conditions, weather forecasts and the potential for any further snow Friday and through the weekend. Current forecasts call for very cold temperatures Friday and through the weekend. We will additionally adjust service and routing if roadway conditions worsen. Riders are encouraged to monitor Metro communications and webpage updates for the routes they rely on.
