Metro Weekend Update – February 21-23, 2025

Weekend Service Impacts

  • Routes 50 and RapidRide C Line will have stops #33220 SW Alaska Street & Fauntleroy Way SW (Eastbound) and #32364 SW Alaska Street & Fauntleroy Way SW (Westbound) closed from Saturday, February 22 at 7 a.m. until Monday, February 24 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
  • Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 13, 14, 21, 24, 36, 70, 124, 131, 132, and RapidRide D Line that are traveling southbound on 3rd Avenue will not serve stop #515 at 3rd Avenue S & S Main Street from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 through 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 23 due to construction;
  • RapidRide E Line will not serve stops south of Yesler Way from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 23 due to construction;
  • Route 62 will not serve stop #625 S Washington Street & 4th Avenue S from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 23 due to construction;
  • Route 70 will not serve stops south of Yesler Way from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 23 due to construction;
  • Routes 7 and 106 will have stop #8460 Rainier Avenue S & S Grand Street (Northbound) closed on Saturday, February 22 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. due to construction;
  • Route 333 will have stop #75200 N 145th Street & Interlake Avenue N (Eastbound) closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 due to street repair work;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • The Seattle Sounders have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
  • Link Shuttle Buses are replacing the 1 Line between Capitol Hill and SODO stations on Sunday, February 23;
  • Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday sailing schedule; 
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate normal hours of this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
