Metro Weekend Update – April 4-6, 2025
Weekend Service Impacts
- Routes 7, 14 and 36 are rerouted off 3rd Avenue, between James Street and S Jackson Street, from Friday, April 4 through Saturday, April 5;
- Route 62 and RapidRide E Line will be rerouted off 3rd Avenue S, between Yesler Way and S Main Street, from Saturday, April 5 through Sunday, April 6;
- Routes 49 and 70 to Downtown Seattle will be routed in the University District from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m, on Saturday, April 5, during the Tenacious Ten Run;
- Route 36 to Othello Station will be rerouted off of Beacon Avenue S, between S Orcas Street and S Graham Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 5;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Monster Jam will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
- Rauw Alejandro will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Climate Pledge Arena;
- Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday sailing schedule;
- The fall and winter sailing schedule began on October 12th. Find the sailing schedule on the Water Taxi’s Captain’s Blog;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate normal schedule Friday and Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
- Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
