Weekend Service Impacts

Construction

  • Routes 31 and 33 will have stop #31330 Thorndyke Avenue W & W Newton Street (Southbound) relocated from Saturday, May 17 to Sunday, May 18, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily;
  • Routes 36 and 60 will have stop #3589 12th Avenue S & S Weller Street (Northbound) and stop #3710 12th Avenue S & S Weller Street (Southbound) closed from Saturday, May 17 through Sunday, May 18;
  • Routes 36 and 60 will be rerouted off Beacon Avenue S between 15th Avenue S and S McClellan Street from Saturday, May 17 through Sunday, May 18;
  • Routes 43 and 60 will have stop #41970 Broadway & Pike-Pine (Northbound) not be ADA accessible for loading or unloading passengers Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18;
  • Routes 239 and 250 will be rerouted off NE 85th Street between 6th Street and 120th Avenue NE from Friday, May 16 at 11 p.m. to Monday, May 19 at 5 a.m.;
  • Routes ST 550 and ST 554 to Downtown Seattle will be rerouted off I-90 between Mercer Island and I-5 from Friday, May 16 at 10 p.m. to Saturday, May 17 at 6 a.m.;

Events

  • Routes 40 will be rerouted off 24th Avenue NW, NW Market Street and a portion of Leary Avenue NW between 20th Avenue NW and NW 65th Street on Saturday, May 17 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the 17th of May Seattle Parade;
  • Route 44 will be rerouted off NW Market Street between 15th Avenue NW and 24th Avenue NW on Saturday, May 17 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM during the 17th of May Seattle Parade;
  • Routes 44, 45, 49, 70, 75, and 372 will be affected during the University District Street Fair from Saturday, May 17 to Sunday, May 18 at 11:30 p.m.;
  • Route 50 will be rerouted off 61st Avenue SW and 63rd Avenue SW north of SW Admiral Way from 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 18 due to the West Seattle 5K Run/Walk;
  • Routes 150 and 183 will be rerouted off 4th Avenue N and W James Street east of Washington Avenue N from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 for the Khalsa Day Parade;
  • Route 165 will be rerouted off W Smith Street and W Meeker Street from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 for the Khalsa Day Parade;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 am to midnight on Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
