Metro Weekend Update – June 13-15, 2025

Weekend Service Impacts

Events

  • Routes 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 28, 40, 49, 60, 62, 70, 101, 150, ST 545, ST 554, and RapidRide C and E Lines will be rerouted from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 during the No Kings Seattle Rally & March;
  • Route 2 will be rerouted off E Union Street and Seneca Street between E Madison Street and Boren Avenue on Saturday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.  during the On The Block event;
  • Route 21 will be rerouted off 1st Avenue S, north of S Lander in both directions, at varied times on June 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25, during FIFA Club World Cup game days;
  • Route 124 will be rerouted off 13th Avenue S and Airport Way S between S Bailey Street and Corson Avenue S on Saturday, June 14th from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. during the Georgetown Carnival;
  • Route 271 will be rerouted off Front Street N, E Sunset Way and Newport Way SW on Sunday, June 15 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the Fenders on Front Street event;
  • Routes 45, 65, 67, 75, 255, 372, and ST 542 will be rerouted in the Montlake area during the University of Washington Commencement from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 14;

Construction

  • RapidRide G Line will close stop #128 Madison Street & 5th Avenue (Westbound) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14;
  • Routes 8, 11, and 43 will close stop #29276 E John Street & 22nd Avenue E (Eastbound) from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily;
  • Routes 31 and 32 will close stop #18660 W Nickerson Street & Jesse Avenue W (Westbound) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14;
  • Route 165 will be rerouted off W Meeker Street between 64th Avenue S and Washington Avenue N from Friday, June 13 at 7 p.m. to Monday, June 16 at 7 a.m.;
  • Routes 181 and 187 will close stop #61332 S 320th Street and 20th Avenue S (Eastbound) Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. to Monday, June 16 at 5 a.m.;
  • Route 183 will be rerouted off 64th Avenue S and W Meeker Street east of Russell Road from Friday, June 13 at 7 p.m. to Monday, June 16 at 7 a.m.;
  • ST 554 will be rerouted off Rainier Avenue S from Friday, June 13 at 10 p.m. to Saturday, June 14 at 6 a.m.;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • The Seattle Mariners will play Friday and Saturday at 6:40 p.m. and on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. at T-Mobile Park;
    • Sounders FC will have a match at noon on Saturday at Lumen Field;
    • Check out all the Pride events happening this month across the county;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
    • Enjoy extended service this Sunday on the West Seattle route! Whether you’re cheering on the Sounders or celebrating your dad, the Water Taxi can take you there.
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate normal hours this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
