Weekend Service Impacts

  • Route 2 will be rerouted off a portion of E Union Street and Seneca Street east of Boren Avenue on Saturday, June 21 due to the Pride Pull-A-Palooza event;
  • Route 8 to Seattle Center will be rerouted off Martin Luther King Jr Way S between S McClellan Street and S Walker Street from Saturday, June 21 to Sunday, June 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily due to construction;
  • Routes 31 and 32 will have stop #18660 W Nickerson Street & Jesse Avenue W (Westbound) closed Saturday, June 21 to Sunday, June 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily due to construction;
  • Route 165 will be rerouted off Veterans Drive from Saturday, June 21 at 10 a.m. to Monday, June 23 at 5 a.m. due to construction;
  • Route ST 554 will be rerouted off S Jackson Street and Rainier Avenue S from Friday, June 20 at 9 a.m. to Monday, June 23 at 5 a.m. due to construction;
  • Routes 31, 32, 40 and 62 will be rerouted in the Fremont area, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 during the Fremont Solstice Parade;
  • Valley Shuttle will have stop #64360 SE Redmond-Fall City Road & 337th Place SE (Westbound) closed beginning Saturday, June 21;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • FC Internaziole Milano v Urawa Red Diamonds will have a match at noon on Saturday at Lumen Field;
    • The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday and at 4 p.m. on Sunday;
    • Check out all the Pride events happening this month across the county;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate normal hours this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
