Metro Weekend Update – July 3-6, 2025

Weekend Service Impacts

  • Routes 31 and 32 will be rerouted on Friday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to midnight during the Seafair Summer Fourth event;
  • Route 36 will permanently close stop #3460 Beacon Avenue S & S Stevens Street (Northbound) and stop #3820 Beacon Avenue S & S Stevens Street (Southbound) beginning Saturday, July 5;
  • Route 168 will close stop #60490 SE 272nd Street & 150th Place SE (Eastbound) and stop #62287 SE 272nd Street & 150th Place SE (Westbound) on Friday, July 4 from 4 p.m. to midnight during the Kent 4th of July Splash event;
  • Routes 230, 239 and ST 522 will be rerouted on Friday, July 4th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the Bothell 4th of July Parade;
  • Route 255 will be rerouted off Central Way and Market Street between 10th Avenue and 3rd Street on Friday, July 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the Kirkland 4th of July Parade;
  • Route 271 will be rerouted off NE 8th Street between 100th Avenue NE and 108th Avenue NE during the Bellevue Family 4th event on Friday, July 4 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.;
  • Route 271 will be rerouted off Front Street N and Newport Way NW on Friday, July 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Down Home 4th of July Parade;
  • Route ST 550 will be rerouted off Bellevue Way NE and NE 8th Street between Main Street and 108th Avenue NE on Friday, July 4 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. during the Bellevue Family 4th event;
  • Route ST 554 will be rerouted off E Sunset Way between 2nd Avenue SE and Front Street S on Friday, July 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Down Home 4th of July Parade;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • The Seattle Mariners will play Thursday and Saturday at 7:10 p.m. and on Friday and Sunday at 1:10 p.m. at T-Mobile Park;
    • Seattle Sounders will have a match at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;
    • The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate normal hours this weekend except for Friday, July 4th when it will run 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
