Weekend Service Impacts

  • Route 183 is rerouted on 288th Street, Military Road, and Star Lake Road areas through Wednesday, August 6, due to multiple construction projects;
  • Routes 162 and 183 are rerouted off W Meeker Street between 64th Avenue S and Kent Des Moines Road, from Friday, August 1 through Monday, August 11, due to construction;
  • Routes 2 and 27 will be rerouted in Madrona and Yesler areas from Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3, during the Seafair Weekend Festival;
  • Routes 61, 65, 75, 372, and ST 522 will be rerouted in the Lake City area from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, during the Lake City Summer Festival & Parade;
  • Routes 24 and 31 will be rerouted in Magnolia on from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, during the Magnolia Summerfest Parade;
  • Routes 3, 4, 8, 14, 27, and 48 will be rerouted near Judkins Park  from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, during the Umoja Fest Parade;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky StadiumLumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • Seafair Weekend Festival will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Genessee Park;

    • Seattle Mariners have games at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, and 1:10 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at T-Mobile Park;

    • Seattle Storm will have games at 7 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Sunday at Climate Pledge Arena;
    • Seattle Reign will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Lumen Field;
    • Seahawks Football Fest will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
    • Seattle Sounders will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
  • Revive I-5 will cause major disruptions. Two northbound I-5 lanes across the Ship Canal Bridge will be closed 24/7 for the duration of the project. The Express Lanes will stay open northbound from July 18 to August 18 around the clock to help keep traffic moving;
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 to midnight on Saturday, and 8:30 to 11 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
