Weekend Service Impacts

Construction

  • Routes 161 and RapidRide A Line will have stop #60900 International Boulevard & S 176th Street – Bay 2 (northbound) closed Friday, August 15 to Saturday, August 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily;
  • Routes 1 and 14 will have stop #11940 S Jackson Street & 18th Avenue S (westbound)closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 16;
  • Route ST 545 will have stop #1050 Olive Way & 8th Avenue (eastbound) and Stop #1070 Olive Way & Terry Avenue (eastbound) relocated from Friday, August 15 at 11:59 p.m. to Monday, August 18 at 5 a.m. due to a full closure of northbound I-5;

Events

  • Routes 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 49, 101, 150, ST 545, ST 550, ST 554, and RapidRide G Line will be rerouted in Downtown Seattle from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 for the India Day Parade;
  • Routes 4 and 48 will be rerouted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 for the Tears of Action March;
  • Route 168 will have stop #62287 SE 272nd Street & 150th Place SE (westbound) closed on Saturday, August 16 until 12:30 p.m. due to the Lake Meridian Triathlon;
  • Route 50 will be rerouted off 61st Avenue SW and 63rd Avenue SW north of SW Admiral Way from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 for Alki Beach Pride;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky StadiumLumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • Seattle Seahawks will have a game at 7 p.m. on Friday at Lumen Field;
    • The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 3 p.m. on Sunday;
  • Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
  • Revive I-5 will cause major disruptions. All northbound lanes on I-5 will be closed between I-90 and NE 45th from Friday evening, August 15 through Monday morning, August 18;
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to midnight on Friday and 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
