Metro Weekend Update – August 29 – September 1, 2025
Weekend Service Impacts
- Route 3 is rerouted on Saturday, August 30 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to the Ethiopian New Year and Family Day;
- Routes 45, 65, 67, 75, 255, 372, and ST 542 will be affected in the Montlake area on Saturday, August 30 at 10 p.m. to Sunday, August 31 at 12:30 a.m. during the Husky football game, plus game day traffic revisions;
- Routes 223, 226, 240, 245, and 271 will have stop #67014 Eastgate P&R & 140th Avenue SE – Bay 1 (Westbound) relocated from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, during Husky Game Day Shuttle operation;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Seattle Reign will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Lumen Field;
- The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 7 p.m. on Monday;
- UW Huskies play at 8 p.m. on Saturday, at Husky Stadium;
- Seattle Sounders will have a match at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;
- Bumbershoot Music Festival on Saturday and Sunday at the Seattle Center;
- Water Taxi started the new summer sailing schedule on Saturday, April 12 with the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
