Metro Weekend Update – September 26-28, 2025

Weekend Service Impacts

  • Route 49 will be rerouted off portions of 10th Avenue E, E Roanoke Street and Harvard Avenue E from 11 p.m. on Friday, September 26, to 5 a.m. on Monday, September 29, due to construction;
  • Route 8 stop #2262 Denny Way & Stewart Street (Eastbound) will be relocated from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, due to construction;
  • Route 12 will be impacted from 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, due to construction. The following stops will be closed;
    • #13250 19th Avenue E & E Harrison Street (Southbound)
    • #13330 19th Avenue E & E Thomas Street (Northbound)
    • #13340 19th Avenue E & E Harrison Street (Northbound)
    • #11080 E Pine Street & Broadway (Westbound)
  • Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 13, 14, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 40, 62, 124, 131, 132,  and RapidRide C, D, E, and H Lines will be impacted from 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, to 7 p.m. on Sunday September 28, by 3rd Avenue road closures. The following stops will be closed;
    • #430 3rd Avenue & Pine Street (Southbound),
    • #431 3rd Avenue & Pike Street (Southbound),
    • #600 3rd Avenue & Virginia Street (Northbound)
    • #420 3rd Avenue & Virginia Street (Southbound)
  • Route 10 stop #11080 E Pine Street & Broadway (Westbound) will be closed from 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, due to a road closure;
  • Routes 45, 65, 67, 75, 255, 372, and ST 542 will be affected in the Montlake area, for various times from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, plus other game day traffic revisions during the Husky football game;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky StadiumLumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • University of Washington Huskies will have a game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Husky Stadium
    • Seattle Mariners will have a games at 6:40 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, all at T-Mobile Park;
    • Sounders FC will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
    • Reign FC will have a match at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;
  • Water Taxi is operating on the summer sailing schedule including the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
    • The water taxi will operate eight extra round-trips between Pier 50 in downtown Seattle and the Vashon Ferry Terminal beginning Oct. 11.
  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate regular hours each day this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
