Metro Weekend Update – October 3-5, 2025
Weekend Service Impacts
Construction
- Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 13, 14, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 36, 40, 62, 101, 124, 131, 132, 150, RapidRide C Line, RapidRide D Line, RapidRide E Line, and RapidRide H Line will be rerouted with missed stops due to a road closure on 3rd Avenue between Virginia Street and Stewart Street from Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, October 5;
- Route 4 to Downtown Seattle will be rerouted off 5 Avenue N between Mercer Street & Valley Street from Saturday, October 4 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, October 5 at 5 p.m.;
- Route 7 is rerouted off Virginia Street from Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, October 5 at 7 p.m. due to a road closure;
- Routes 10 and 12 will be rerouted off E Pine Street between 12th Avenue and Harvard Avenue from Saturday, October 4 at 8 a.m. to Sunday, October 5 at 5 p.m.;
- Route 11 will have stop #12210 E McGilvra Street & 42nd Avenue E (westbound) closed from Saturday, October 4 at 8 a.m. to Sunday, October 5 at 4 p.m.;
- Routes 40, 61, 345, and 365 will have stop #17024 1st Avenue NE & NE 95th Street (northbound) and stop #17697 1st Avenue NE & NE 95th Street (southbound) closed on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- Route 60 is rerouted off 14th Avenue S between S Cloverdale Street and E Marginal Way S from Friday, October 3 until Tuesday, October 7, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly;
- Routes 101 and 150 will have stop #340 2nd Avenue & Marion Street (southbound) closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 4;
- Route 208 is rerouted in both directions from Gilman Boulevard & Front Street on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day. Along the reroute, shuttles will be available every 15 minutes to cover missing service;
Events
- Route 2 to W Queen Anne is rerouted off E Union Street between 12th Avenue and Broadway Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5 due to an event;
- Routes 44, 45, 49, 67, 70, 75, and 372 are rerouted off NE 43rd Street from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 4 for the U-District Chow Down & Street Party;
- Routes 31, 32, 44, 49, 67, 70, 75, 271, 372, and ST 542 will be rerouted in the U-District from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 5 during to the UW Dawg Dash 5k/10k;
- Routes 271 and ST 554 will be affected by street closures in downtown Issaquah on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, daily from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during the Issaquah Salmon Days festival;
- King County Metro shuttle will operate the Issaquah Salmon Days event shuttle on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, daily from 7 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.;
- West Seattle Water Taxi route will be running on Saturday schedule all weekend to get sports fans to and from the games in SODO on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. The final departure from Pier 50 both days will be 10:45 p.m.;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;

Seattle Mariners have games at 5:38 p.m. on Saturday, and 5:03 p.m. on Sunday at T-Mobile Park;
- Seattle Sounders will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
- Seahawks will have a game at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;

- Water Taxi is operating on the summer sailing schedule including the return of late-night weekend service to West Seattle;
- King County Water Taxi will operate a Saturday schedule all weekend. The last sailings from Pier 50 to West Seattle on Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5, will be at 10:45 p.m. Free water taxi shuttles in West Seattle also will operate extended hours to match the sailing times;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
