Metro Weekend Update – January 30 – February 1, 2026
Weekend Service Impacts
- Route 21 and RapidRide C Line will be rerouted off SW Avalon Way between SW Genesee Street and Delridge Way S from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 1 due to construction;
- Route 2 will have stop #3330 Madrona Dr & Newport Way (southbound) closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 31 due to construction;
- Routes 3 and 4 will have stop #12860 Jefferson Street & Broadway (westbound) relocated on Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily due to construction;
- Routes 7 and 9 will have stop #8890 Rainier Avenue S & S Holly Street (southbound) closed Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily due to construction;
- Route 70 will have stop #10240 Boren Avenue & Virginia Street (southbound) relocated from Saturday, January 31 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, February 1 at 8 p.m. due to construction;
- ST 545 will be routed off of SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard and I-5 from Saturday, January 31 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, February 1 at 1 p.m. due to the SR 520 floating bridge closure;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Water Taxi is operating on the winter sailing schedule as of Saturday, October 11;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
- Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
