Metro Weekend Update – April 17-19, 2026
Weekend Service Impacts
- Routes 5, 17, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 40, 56, 57, 62, 124, 131, 132, ST 570, and RapidRide H Line will have stop #590 3rd Avenue & Pine Street (northbound) relocated on Friday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., then Saturday and Sunday April 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily, due to construction;
- Routes 8, 11, 43, and 48 will have stop #29276 E John Street & 22nd Avenue E (eastbound) and stop #35821 23rd Avenue E & E John Street (southbound) closed from Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily due to construction;
- Route 10 will be rerouted off 15th Avenue E between E Aloha Street and E Garfield Street from Saturday, April 18 through Sunday, April 19 due to construction;
- Route 161 will be rerouted off a portion of S 212th Street between 84th Avenue S and 72nd Avenue S Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. due to construction;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Seattle Sounders will have a match at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
- The Seattle Torrent will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 2 p.m. on Saturday;
- The Mariners will play Friday at 6:40 p.m., Saturday at 4:15 p.m. and on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. at T-Mobile Park;
- Water Taxi began operating on the summer sailing schedule as of Saturday, April 11;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
- Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
