Metro Weekend Update – May 8-10, 2026
Weekend Service Impacts
- Route 2 will be rerouted off E Union Street between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 due to construction;
- Route 4 will have stop #3940 Boston Street & Warren Avenue N (Eastbound) closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 due to construction;
- Routes 8, 11 and 43 will be rerouted off E John Street between 15th Avenue E & 12th Avenue E from Saturday, May 9 at 8 a.m. to Monday, May 11 at 4 a.m. due to construction;
- Route 12 will be rerouted off E Madison Street and a portion of 19 Avenue E between 15th Avenue and E Thomas Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 due to construction;
- Route 36 will be rerouted off portions of S Jackson Street and 12th Avenue S between 10th Avenue S and S Weller Street from Saturday, May 9 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, May 10 at 8 p.m. due to construction;
- Routes 43, 44, 45, 48, 49, 65, 67, 75, 255, 271, and ST 542 will be rerouted in the University District and Montlake area during the Beat the Bridge Run from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 9;
- Route 60 will have stop #41990 9th Avenue & Marion Street (Southbound) closed from 12 p.m. to 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 9 due to construction;
- Route 132 will be rerouted off S Holden Street between 5th Avenue S and 4th Avenue S from Friday, May 8 at 10 p.m. to Monday, May 11 at 5 a.m. due to construction;
- Routes 230, 239 and ST 522 will be rerouted off 110th Avenue NE between Beardslee Boulevard and NE 185th Street Sat, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the UW Bothell Husky 5K event;
- Routes 239 and 250 will be rerouted off a portion of NE 85th Street between 6th Street and 120th Avenue NE from Friday, May 8 at 11 p.m. to Sunday, May 10 at 4 a.m. due to construction;
- ST 550 and ST 554 will be rerouted off 2nd Avenue between University Street and Madison Street from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 due to construction;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Seattle Sounders will have a match at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
- Seattle Reign will have their opening match at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;
- The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 7 p.m. on Saturday;
- SEA26 Soccer page has launched with information all about how to get to world soccer games this summer;
- Water Taxi began operating on the summer sailing schedule as of Saturday, April 11;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
