Metro Weekend Update – August 14-16, 2026

Weekend Service Impacts

Route 1 will be rerouted off Mercer Street between 1st Avenue N & 2nd Avenue W from Saturday, August 15 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, August 16 at 5 p.m. due to construction;
Route 21 will be affected in both directions for the Seahawk home game on Saturday, August 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; stops on portions of 1st Avenue S will not be served; use alternate stops on 4th Avenue S instead;
Routes 31 and 32 will be rerouted off NE 42nd Street between 7th Avenue NE & Roosevelt Way NE from Saturday, August 15 at 4:30 a.m. to Monday, August 17 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
Route 50 will be rerouted in the Alki area from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 due to the Alki Beach Pride;
Route 65 to Shoreline South 148th Station will be rerouted off Roosevelt Way NE between NE 43rd Street and NE Campus Parkway from Saturday, August 15 at 4:30 p.m. to Monday, August 17 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
Route 168 will have stop #60490 SE 272nd Street & 150th Place SE (eastbound) and stop #62287 SE 272nd Street & 150th Place SE (westbound) closed from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 due to the Lake Meridian Triathlon Event;
Routes 208 and 271 will be rerouted off Front Street N from Saturday, August 15 to Sunday, August 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the Front Street Eatery;
Routes 239 and 250 will be rerouted off NE 85th Street between 6th Street and 120th Avenue NE from Friday, August 14 at 10 p.m. to Monday, August 17 at 5 a.m. due to construction;

Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Seattle Reign will have a match at 7 p.m. on Friday at Lumen Field;
- The Seahawks will play at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
- Sounders will have a match on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Lumen Field;
- The Seattle Storm will play at the Climate Pledge Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Sunday;
Water Taxi began operating on the summer sailing schedule as of Saturday, April 11;
Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
