Metro Weekend Update – September 4-7, 2026
Weekend Service Impacts
- Route 21 will be affected in both directions after all Mariners home games;
- stops on portions of 1st Avenue S will not be served; use alternate stops on 4th Avenue S during this time;
- Routes 255 and ST 542 will be rerouted in the UW Campus area from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, during the Husky football game;
- Routes 65, 67, 72, 75 and 77 will be rerouted in the UW Campus area from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, during the Husky football game;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- Seattle Sounders will have a match at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 at Lumen Field;
- Seattle Mariners will have a match at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 and at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, September 6 at T-Mobile Park;
- UW Huskies will host WSU Cougars at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 6 at Husky Stadium;
- Seattle Reign will have a match at 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 6 at Lumen Field;
- Water Taxi began operating on the summer sailing schedule as of Saturday, April 11;
- Both routes will operate on normal sailing schedule Monday, September 7th (Labor Day).
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
- Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
