Moving Stories: Share your story
Calling all people and communities who take RapidRide! WE want to hear YOUR stories!
King County Metro and 4Culture are working in partnership to produce Moving Stories, a public art initiative that brings together six regional artists to create twelve original short-form graphic novels inspired by the people, places, and experiences that make Metro’s RapidRide network unique.
Each artist is developing stories connected to two existing or planned RapidRide lines, A through K and R. You may already have seen the artists riding the bus or talking with people at neighborhood events, gathering stories from riders, transit operators, and community members.
Whether you take RapidRide every day, once in a while, or simply live, work, learn, or spend time along a RapidRide line, we’d love to hear from YOU! Share a memory, an observation, a favorite view, a missed connection, a funny story, a local landmark, or a moment that changed the way you see your community. You can leave a voicemail or answer a few questions in writing. Just follow the links below.
Share your story online by Oct. 31, 2026, or leave us a voice message at 425-952-8132.
Learn more at the project’s web page. The full collection of Moving Stories graphic novels will be distributed free to the public to coincide with the launch of the RapidRide I Line in 2027.
