Overnight Construction RerouteRoute 245Transit service will be rerouted in both directions off of 156th Avenue NE between NE 31st St and NE 36th St from Friday, May 27 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, May 28 at 5 a.m.
Construction RerouteRoutes 21, 50, 120, 125, and RapidRide C LineTransit service will experience delays due to work near the near Lower Spokane St Bridge and West Seattle Bridge on Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29 from 6a.m. to 6p.m.
Event RerouteRoutes 8 and 14Transit service will be rerouted in both directions during the Black Wall Street event in the Central District on Monday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Service Reminders

  • Seattle Center Monorail will operate extended hours on Friday, May 27, from 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Monday, Memorial Day, 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Take transit to the Seattle Center for the Folklife Festival. Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your trip;
  • West Seattle Water Taxi and #773 and #775 shuttles are operating on the summer schedule, offering midday crossings 7 days a week, plus late options Fridays and Saturdays;
  • We recommend customers arrive at their bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time of their trip;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
