Metro Weekend Update – January 19-21, 2024
Weekend Service Impacts
- Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 40, 62, 124, 131, 132, and RapidRide C, D, E, H Line will have stop #420 3rd Avenue & Virginia Street (Southbound) relocated Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day due to construction;
- Routes 7 and 106 will have stop #8460 Rainier Avenue S & S Grand Street (Northbound) closed Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21 due to construction;
- Routes 43, 48, 255, 271, and ST 542 will be rerouted in both directions during the closure of Montlake Boulevard E between E Hamlin Street and E Louisa Street from Friday, January 19th at 10 p.m. through Monday, January 22 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
- Route ST 554 to Issaquah will be rerouted during the closure of the Rainier Avenue S on-ramp to I-90 on Friday, January 19 from 9 p.m. until the end of service, due to construction;
- First Hill Streetcar service will be reduced in both directions and will not serve the stations on Broadway Avenue or E Yesler Way on Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21, due to construction;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your holiday, sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field and Climate Pledge Arena;
- The Kraken will have a game at the Climate Pledge Arena at 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 21;
- Your ticket to the game is also your bus ticket to Climate Pledge Arena.

- Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday and weekend sailing schedule;
- Seattle Center Monorail will be open normal hours this Saturday and will have extended hours Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
- Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
