Metro Weekend Update – February 23-25, 2024

Weekend Service Impacts

  • Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 21, 24, 27, 28, 33, 40, 62, 124, 131, 132, RapidRide C, D, E, and H Lines will have stop #420 3rd Avenue & Virginia Street (Southbound) relocated on Saturday, February 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to construction;
  • Route 3 will have stop #12712 34th Avenue & E Cherry Street (Southbound) closed Saturday, February 24 & Sunday, February 25 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day due to construction;
  • Route 70 will have stop #9200 Eastlake Avenue E & E Lynn Street (Southbound) closed Saturday, February 24 & Sunday, February 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day due to construction;
  • Routes 101, 150, ST 550, and ST 554 will be rerouted off 4th Avenue on Saturday, February 24 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. during the March of Freedom event;
  • Route 156 will be rerouted off of 24th Avenue S between S 224th Street and S 216th Street on Saturday, February 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., due to construction;
  • Route 181 will be affected by the closure of 23rd Avenue S in the Federal Way area on Saturday, February 24 starting at 10 p.m. due to construction;
  • Routes 255, 271, ST 542, and ST 545 will be rerouted in both directions during the SR 520 bridge closure from Friday, February 23 at 10 p.m. through Monday, February 26 at 5 a.m. due to construction;
  • Service on the South Lake Union Streetcar will not operate on Saturday, February 24, due to street repair work;

Service Reminders

  • Take transit to all your holiday, sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field and Climate Pledge Arena;
    • The Kraken will have a game at the Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday, February 24 at 7 p.m.;
      • Your ticket to the game is also your bus ticket to Climate Pledge Arena. 
  • Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday and weekend sailing schedule; 
  • Seattle Center Monorail will be open normal hours this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
  • Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
  • Remember, it’s free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).
