Metro Weekend Update – August 9th to 11th, 2024
Weekend Service Impacts
- Expect significant delays on Trailhead Direct routes this weekend due to traffic impacts on I-90, during the closure of the SR 520 Evergreen Floating Bridge;
- Routes 7, 10, 11, 43, and 49 will be rerouted off a portion of Pine Street during the Seattle Summer Sounds event from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 9;
- Route 183 will be rerouted between the Federal Way TC and 31st Avenue S from the last trip leaving Kent Sounder Station at 10:15 p.m. on Friday, August 9 through the end of service on Saturday, August 10;
- Routes 239 and 250 will be rerouted off of NE 85th Street between 6th Street and 120th Avenue NE each night from 11 p.m. to end of service on Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11;
- Routes 255, 271, ST 542, and ST 545 will be rerouted during the SR 520 bridge closure from 11 p.m. on Friday, August 9 through 5 a.m. on Monday, August 12;
- Route 231 will be rerouted in downtown Woodinville during the Celebrate Woodinville parade from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 10;
- Route 31 to the University District will be rerouted off of W McGraw Street between 34th Avenue W and 32nd Avenue W during the Magnolia Village Car Show from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 10;
- Route 2 to W Queen Anne will be rerouted off portions of E Union Street and Seneca Street during the On The Block event from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 10;
- Route 132 will be rerouted during the Boulevard Park Block Party from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday August 10;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- The Seattle Mariners will have games at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, 6:40 p.m. Saturday, and at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday at T-Mobile Park
- Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday and extended summer weekend sailing schedule;
- The summer sailing schedule began April 15 and will run through October 11. Find the summer sailing schedule on the Water Taxi’s Captain’s Blog;
- Seattle Center Monorail will be open during normal hours this weekend except Friday when it will operate until midnight. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
