Metro Weekend Update – September 20th to 22nd, 2024
Weekend Service Impacts
Events
- Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 28, 40, 49, 62, 70, 101, 150, ST 545, ST 550, ST 554 and RapidRide C and E Lines will be rerouted in downtown Seattle during the Puget Sound Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, September 21st from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
- Route 124 will be rerouted on Saturday, September 21st from 8 a.m. to midnight during the R Day event in Georgetown;
- Routes 44, 45, 65, 67, 75, 255, 372, and ST 542 will be affected in the Montlake area on Saturday, September 21st from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM during the Husky football game, plus game day traffic revisions;
- Routes 221, 226, 240, 241, 245, 271, and ST 554 will not serve Stop #67014 Eastgate P&R – Bay 1 (Westbound) from 1:45 PM to 3:20 PM on Saturday, September 21st during Husky Service Shuttles; buses will serve Bay 2 instead;
Construction
- Route ST 522 will be rerouted and will not serve the stops on Beardslee Boulevard at NE 195th Street from Friday, September 20th at 10 p.m. to Monday, September 23rd at 5 a.m. due to construction;
- Routes 36, 60, and 107 will be rerouted southbound off of Beacon Avenue S between 15th Avenue S and S McClellan Street on Saturday, September 21st from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day due to construction;

Service Reminders
- Take transit to all your sporting events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
- UW Huskies play at 4 p.m. on Saturday, at Husky Stadium;
- The Seahawks play at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Lumen Field;
- The Kraken will play at 7 p.m. at the Climate pledge Arena;
- Water Taxi will continue a year-round midday and extended summer weekend sailing schedule;
- The summer sailing schedule began April 15 and will run through October 11. Find the summer sailing schedule on the Water Taxi’s Captain’s Blog;
- Seattle Center Monorail will operate until midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 11 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
